Napa Valley Murder Mystery Train
This dinner train is the perfect combination of spooky and delicious. You will be thrust into a stylish speakeasy that turns deadly, and you’ll have to help the cast solve the case. Feel free to dress up in your 1920s garb to get in the spirit, or come in your regular clothes, and you’ll still fit in as a private detective. While this fun event happens throughout the year, it is especially fun in the Halloween season, as the spooky mystery will get you in the spirit. Not to mention, the multiple course gourmet meal and the smooth California wine are the perfect dinner plans for your group!
The Napa Valley Murder Mystery Train experience lasts about four hours. You will want to arrive at 5:30 p.m., as this is when the entertainment starts. Your train will depart at 6:30 p.m. and will return at 9:30 p.m. Tickets for this event can be purchased online at winetrain.com.
Sixteen Spirits Historical Ghost Winery Tour and Tasting
When you’re spending Halloween in Healdsburg, you can’t miss out on the Historical Ghost Winery Tour and Tasting from Sixteen Spirits. Your group will be introduced to paranormal investigators from Napa City Ghosts and Legends, and you’ll be taken on a walking tour of the Ghost Winery at the Flora Springs estate in St. Helena. You will hear about the spirits that linger in the winery, and you’ll get to enjoy the unique Ghost Winery Malbec, a special yearly release at Halloween. Spend the evening getting spooked and enjoying some delicious wine with your friends.
For 2019, the Historical Ghost Winery Tour and Tasting will take place on October 13th from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Tickets cost $75 per person and can be purchased online at florasprings.com.
The Murder Mystery Company
The Murder Mystery Company offers two ways for you to get involved in the Halloween spirit. You can partake in one of their public dinner theater shows, where you’ll experience three courses of delicious food and help solve a gory murder, or you can reserve a private mystery party that is tailored to your group. You’re encouraged to wear costumes and become as immersed in the experience as possible, and depending on the size of your group, you will work together or in teams.
